Kingfisher Advising is a boutique firm providing strategic guidance and consulting services across technology, venture capital, foundation, public sector, and non-governmental clients. While the firm works across all verticals, it has specialized expertise and deep knowledge within digital health, health delivery, and sexual and reproductive health. Our CEO
Curtis Peterson, CEO of Kingfisher Advising, has a passion for improving the lives and wellbeing of all people, everywhere.
This mission has taken Curtis around the world, working in diverse settings as a startup product lead, health systems researcher, government policy advisor, and board member. He has presented his work at the US National Institutes of Health and spoken on the role of innovation in healthcare at the United Nations. He has a particular interest in the role that new technologies play in addressing the social determinants of health and catalyzing broader improvements to health systems.
Curtis served on the board of MobileODT, a women's health technology company, through its acquisition. He currently serves as Chair of the Board of Win Win Companies.
Previously, Curtis worked at Columbia University's Earth Institute and Harvard University's François-Xavier Bagnoud Center. He received his undergraduate degree from Vassar College.
Curtis is a licensed skipper and when not working, you will likely find him on the water.
